Bomb hoax call at cinemahouse

Indore, Nov 16 (UNI) An anonymous call about a bomb planted in Manmandir cinemahouse -- screening Abhishek Bachchan-starrer Umrao Jaan -- sent police into a flutter today but it turned out to be a hoax.

City Superintendent of Police, Jitendra Singh said an anonymous person had called up the Inspector General of Police's office from a mobile.

On receiving the information, police sprang into action and evacuated the cinema house. A thorough search by the bomb disposal squad revealed that the call was hoax.

The mobile belonged to someone named Sharad. However, police could not trace Sharad to the address provided.
