Anganbadi sevikas suspended for dereliction in pulse polio drive
Darbhanga, Nov 16 (UNI) Altogether 17 Anganbadi sevikas, engaged in pulse polio drive were dismissed for neglecting their duties.
District magistrate Upendra Saharma said here today that the drive had been launched to eradicate polio. He said 17 anganbadi sevikas were found neglecting their duties alloted to them for the current drive launched on November 12.Seven such sevikas of Benipur, six of Hayaghat and four Manigachhi blocks were dismissed.
Mr Sharma said the officers of World Health Organisation and other departmental officials had also found these sevikas neglecting their duties in pulse polio drive.
