7 yrs' RI for rape

Shajapur, MP, Nov 16 (UNI) A local court has sentenced a person to seven years' rigorous imprisonment and fined him Rs 1,000 on the charge of raping an insane woman.

According to police, Ramlal Mewada had sexually assaulted the victim at her house at Hajipur village in Rajgarh district on April 2005.

Additional Sessions Judge H S Yadav delivered the verdict.
