ALso falling under the MCD scanner were five units located at Keshavpur Marg, Raja Garden and PWD Road No 237 Hastsal falling in the West Zone.

The sealing drive at Hastsal met with some resistence from local people.

Meanwhile, MCD sources said nearly 200 traders falling in the notified areas today filed affidavits that they had stopped the misuse of their establishments, as directed by the Monitoring Committee yesterday.

The committee yesterday announced that traders who had submitted affidavits in the Apex court but whose shops were located on the 2183 notified areas would not be subjected to sealing till November 21 but that they would have to intimate in writing that they have stopped the misuse of their properties.

Based on the affidavits, the Supreme Court-appointed Committee would send a report to the apex Court, which would give its decision on the matter on November 21.
