Wireman electrocuted in Kolhapur

Kolhapur, Nov 15 (UNI) A wireman of the Maharashtra State Electricity Board (MSEB) was killed when he came into contact with a live wire at Kajlewadi village in Shahuwadi tehsil of the district today.

The deceased Pandurang Thombre (49) of Gaganbavada village, attached to MSEB Shahuwadi tehsil section, came into contact with a live wire when he was on an electricity pole while restoring a faulty connection, police said.

He received a shock and fell down and died, police added.
