Three persons arrested, heroin worth Rs 1.96 crore seized

Chennai, Nov 15 (UNI) The Narcotics Control Bureau OF Chennai today arrested three persons including two Sri Lankans and seized heroin worth Rs 1.96 crore.

An official release here said on a tip-off the N C B officers arrested the three from Tuticorin bus stand.

They were carrying the herion in a ten litre black jerry can.

The arrested were S Joseph(45) of Vilathikulam Taluk in Tuticorin, Suranga Veera Singha (25) and W Duminde Dinesh (23) of SriLanka.

Later, they were remanded to judicial custody, the release added.
