Sub-Jr National and Inter-State TT at Alleppey from Nov 19

New Delhi, Nov 15 (UNI) Defending champions PSPB-A, Tamil Nadu, North Bengal and Maharashtra-A have been given top billing in four categories of the 68th Sub-Junior National and Inter-State Table Tennis which will kick off at Alleppey, Kerala from Sunday.

PSPB-A won the sub-junior boys title last year, while Tamil Nadu bagged the girls crown. Similarly, North Bengal topped the cadet boys section, while Maharashtra-A finished on top in cadet girls category.

This time, 32 teams would take part in sub-junior boys section and 31 in girls, while the cadet boys category will feature 32 sides and 30 in cadet girls, according to a Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) release here today.

All four sections will have eight groups and the teams would play each other on round-robin league before group toppers advance to the knockout stage.
