Serbian defender Poledica signs for Slavia Sofia

SOFIA, Nov 15 (Reuters) Slavia Sofia have signed Serbian defender Mirko Poledica on a two-and-a-half-year contract, the Bulgarian premier league side said today.

The 28-year-old, who is a free agent after leaving Polish champions Legia Warsaw in the off season, is expected to make his debut in the Bulgarian championship during Slavia's visit to Marek Dupnitsa on Saturday.

Seven-times Bulgarian champions Slavia are fifth in the standings with 19 points from 13 matches, 16 points behind leaders and city rivals Levski.
