Police arrests four parents accused of buying CPMT paper for wards
Shimla, Nov 15 (UNI) The police team probing into the Himachal Pradesh Combined Pre-Medical Test (HPCPMT) paper leak case today arrested four parents accused of buying papers for their wards, Shimla Superintendent of Police AP Singh said.
The arrested have been identified as Kuldeep Rao an Executive Engineer in PWD, S K Sood an SDO in Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited (SJVNL), G D Kalia SBI Solan General Manager and Dr Nalin, Mr.
Singh, who is also member of the team, told UNI here.
''The police have adequate proof against them and cases will soon be registered. The arrests will go on till all the 38 accused parents are brought before the law,'' he said.
Mr. Singh said police had substantial proof against the parents who were directly or indirectly involved in the paper leak scam.
Meanwhile, the team was also trying to take Jaijeet, a machine operator at the Maxwell Printing Press Lucknow, on remand.
Jaijeet had managed to take out three sets of papers from the printing press and had sold them to the masterminds of the scam.
