PMK men trespass into airport

Chennai, Nov 15 (UNI) Airport police today arrested two PMK men for allegedly attempting to trespass into the airport here by car, via Indian Airlines' cargo area.

Police said Sridharan, Kancheepuram Panchayat Union ward member and the car driver Dheenadayalan, in an inebriated condition, drove into the cargo complex despite the security staff's attempt to stop them. The car was finally stopped at the approach to Gate Number Two, leading to a runway, by CRPF men at gunpoint.

Later, the two were handed over to local police.
