Lahore, Nov 15 (UNI) The committee hearing the appeals filed by Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Asif against the ban imposed on the pacer duo by Pakistan Cricket Board's anti-doping tribunal has adjourned its proceedings until next Monday.

The committee's hearing had to be adjourned because Shoaib's lawyer is still to receive some PCB documents.

The committee comprising retired judge Fakhruddin Ibrahim, former Test player Hasib Ahsan and Dr Danish Zaheer is getting legal fuidance from a London-based lawyer, who represented Inzamam-ul Haq in the ICC hearing following the infamous Oval Test fiasco.

Both Shoaib and Asif tested positive for banned anabolic steroid nandrolone in tests conducted by the PCB before the Champions Trophy.
