Mrs Ravinder Kaur takes oath as member of PPSC

Chandigarh, Nov 15 (UNI) Mrs Ravinder Kaur took oath as a member of the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) here today.

State Governor, General (Retd.) S F Rodrigues, administered the oath of office and secrecy to Mrs Kaur at a brief but impressive ceremony held in the Banquet Hall of the Raj Bhavan here.

After being sworn-in, Mrs Kaur signed the oath which was counter-signed by the Governor.

Punjab Chief Minister, Capt. Amarinder Singh, Ministers, Legislators and senior civil and police officers were present on the occasion. The family members and well-wishers of Mrs Kaur also attended the ceremony.

Mrs Kaur, a Postgraduate in History from Panjab University, Chandigarh, has an outstanding academic and extra-curricular record to her credit.
