Merrill Corp sets up global operations centre in India

New Delhi, Nov 15 (UNI) Merrill Corporation, a US-based business communications and information management solutions provider today launched its India operations for IT enabled services through Merrill Technology Services India Pvt Ltd with an initial headcount of 300.

The new centre located in Chennai has occupied 27,000 square feet area and would increase staff strength by the end of this financial year, a company statement said.

''Our ongoing commitment towards India continues to play a significant role in the company's expansion plans in Asia,'' said Merrill Corporation President and Chief Operating Officer Rick Atterbury.

The company's presence here will offer Merrill further ways to better serve its customers, achieve operational efficiencies and access skilled individuals can help achieve our strategic goals, Mr Atterbury added.
