Jolly is match referee for two Ranji matches

Chandigarh, Nov 15 (UNI) Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has appointed former Haryana Ranji captain Rakesh Jolly as match referee for two Plate Group A encounters--- Kerala vs Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) match at Palakkad from November 23 to 26 and Goa vs VCA Tie in Goa from December 1 to 4.

Jolly, the 48-year-old Superintendent in Central Customs and Excise Department and posted in Amritsar, is presently officiating in the Cooch Behar Trophy, Under-19 Cricket Tournament.

A keen golfer, Jolly's maiden assignment as Match Referee was for the match between Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh in the Vinoo Mankad North Zone Under-19 Cricket Tournament held in New Delhi last month Jolly has played over 40 Ranji Trophy matches and other domestic cricket tournaments.He is among the 35 match referees the BCCI has appointed this year for all major domestic tournaments UNI XC-HS BP AY RK1620
