ITC Infotech opens Devp Centre for Denske Bank

Bangalore, Nov 15: The ITC Infotech, one of the India's fastest growing IT and ITE's solution provider, today opened a dedicated Development Center in India (DCI) for one of its key customers, Denske Bank, largest bank in Denmark and a leading player in the Scandinvian financial markets.

Speaking on the occasion, ITC Infotech Managing Director Sanjiv Puri said that the new Centre set up in the ITC Infotech Park here would act as a virtual extension of the Bank's IT division and support Danske's business across Northern Europe. The DCI has been set up with an investment of Rs 3.75 Crore.

The DCI would ensure greater flexibility and scalability thereby enabling to expand company's services further.

Mr Puri said that ITC Infotech would also open an office in Denmark focussing company's growing operations in Europe and supports cleints in the Nordic region. The Company recently signed a five-year multi-million Euro contract with Finnair for CRM Implementation.

He said that his company has registered a 85 per cent growth which was almost three-time more than the growth of the industry.

Denske Bank Senior Vice President Erik Anderson, who was also present, said that the partnership with ITC Infotech would focus around development and support of Denske Bank's system. The Centre would provide services across a full range of technology capabilities including IBM Mainframe, PeopleSoft HRMS, Front end applications on the Microsoft Platform and Lotus Notes based applications.
