Indianoil signs MoU with Fire safex and zenith services

Mumbai, Nov 15 (UNI) IndianOil has signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Safex Fire Services Ltd and Zenith Fire Services, the two city-based leading manufacturers of portable fire extinguishers.

The MoU was signed here by Mr Mrinal Roy, General Manager(LPG), IndianOil with the representatives of Safex Fire Services and Zenith Fire Services, two of the leading manufacturers of portable extinguishers in the country, in presence of senior officials.

Mr Roy, in a press release issued by IndianOil today, said,''Our primary task is to make the life of our customer in the kitchen both a pleasurable and safe experience. Customer Safety is of paramount importance to us. The best way of ensuring safety in kitchens or even in our homes is through a handy portable fire extinguisher which can be used against any kind of fire''.

The portable 'Safex' and 'Zenith' DCP type of fire extinguishers, which will now be marketed by the Indane Distributors contains ABC powder that is ideal to fight all classes of fire whether due to liquid, gas or solid inflammable material. It is easy to use and has a controlled discharge mechanism. These portable ABC type fire extinguishers are available in two convenient sizes.

IndianOil is already marketing 'Green Label' branded LPG stoves across the country through its countrywide network of Indane LPG distributorships. The eco-friendly, energy efficient Green Label stoves give a thermal efficiency of minimum 68 per cent and fuel savings of about 15 per cent and are termed as Green Label by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).

Apart from the above, IndianOil plans to market a host of other consumer items through its Indane distributorship network in future, with an idea to convert its Indane distributors as a ''One Stop Shoppe''for all kitchen items.
