Heavy rains likely at J

Pune, Nov 15 (UNI) Heavy rains are likely to occur at many places in Tamil Nadu and Kerala and at a few places in coastal Andhra Pradesh.

Rain or snow are likely to occur at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Uttaranchal and Himachal Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Rayalseema, Andman and Nicobar Isalnds, Lakshadweep and at isolated places in Orissa.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana and Karnataka.

Heavy rains have occurred at Kerala and at isolated places in coastal Andhra Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Rayalseema and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

Night temperatures were below normal in north Orissa.

They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Manipur, Bihar, Haryana, Rajasthan, north Madhya Pradesh, in some parts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and of east Uttar Pradesh and were above normal in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, north Gujarat, Saurashtra, Kutch, Konkan and Goa, north Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha and coastal and south interior Karnataka and in some parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Jharkhand and of Andhra Pradesh. They were normal over the rest of the country.
