Financial aid to those who marry disabled persons

Agartala, Nov 15 (UNI) Tripura Government has granted financial aid of Rs five thousand each to nine physically challenged persons so far in their wedding in Tripura's West District.

The government's Social Welfare and Special Education department had decided to provide financial help to those who marry a disabled person, official sources informed here today.

The scheme was implemented by the government to encourage the marraige of the physically challenged people in the state, sources said.
