Eves lost 1-5 to Thailand; crash out of AFC u-19 qualifiers

New Delhi, Nov 15 (UNI) Indian eves failed to qualify for the AFC U-19 Women's Championship 2007 after receiving a 1-5 thrashing at the hands of formidable Thailand in a Group 'A' in Kuala Lumpur here today.

In the must-win tie, Indian girls failed to put up a fight and surrendered meekly to their fancied opponents.

From the Group A, Thailand and Myanmar advance to the next stage.

India had beaten Jordan 4-0 in their opening tie but lost to Myanmar 1-2 in the second match. They bounced back to rout Singapore 7-0 in their third match.
