Cong unaware of any bid to dismiss UP Govt

New Delhi, Nov 15 (UNI) The Congress today pleaded ignorance about the allegation levelled by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav that there was a move to dismiss his Government, saying the party was not aware of any such.

''There is a constitutional procedure for dismissal of a Government, Congress Spokesperson Jayanti Natrajan told reporters here. However, she added the situation in Uttar Pradesh was not ''happy.'' "The Government is not good," she claimed.

"It is for the central government to decide,"she said when asked whether dismissal of the State Government was on the anvil.

"As far as the party is concerned, it is not aware of any compulstion for the dismissal of the Government,"Ms Natrajan added.
