CII organises CEOs visit to Toyota plant

Bangalore, Nov 15 (UNI) The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) today organised a session for about 140 CEOs and Business Leaders from 70 corporate houses at the Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) factory in Bidadi, about 40 km from here.

The visit was organised as part of the 14th Quality Summit, to be hosted by CII in the city tomorrow. The 'Toyota way' gave managers from India Inc an opportunity to benchmark their own production facilities against the world's best production system, a CII release here said.

Each year, CII organised such visits to some of India's best companies. During earlier Quality Summits, visits had been organised to Infosys, Lucas TVS and TVS Motors.
