12-year-old girl killed in accident

Chittoor, Nov 15 (UNI) A 12-year-old girl was killed on the spot and another girl seriously injured, when a police jeep ran over them at Chellegani Palli in Ramkupam mandal here this evening.

The deceased was identified as Rezwana (12).

Police said, the mishap occurred, when the two girls were crossing the road.

The police jeep was proceeding to V Kota from Kuppam.

The seriously injured girl was admitted to Government Hospital here, police added.
