Zuari Industries launches 'Hello Jaikisaan' in K'taka

Bangalore, Nov 14 (UNI) Goa-based agri-major Zuari Industries today launched 'Hello Jaikisaan', a dedicated toll-free information service to help farmers in Karnataka.

A friend of Karnataka farmers, Jaikisaan had been a trusted brand of fertiliser in the State for more than three decades.

The service would enable farmers to get answers to their queries on agriculture, horticulture, fishing, sericulture and agri-economics in real time from experts in the field. This effort in the State was not only to help farmers and dealers, but also a whole segment of society interested in the growth of agriculture, a company release here said.

The programme would be coordinated by Prof R Rajagopal, a renowned agriculture scientist. The service, that could be accessed from MTNL and BSNL lines at 1800 425 1012, was launched by Karnataka Agriculture Commissioner E Vekataiah.
