YKK gets Hooda's nod for expansion project
Chandigarh, Nov 14 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today assured all assistance of the state government to YKK India Private Limited, which manufactures zippers, in setting up of its expansion project at Growth Centre, Bawal.
Mr Hooda made this assurance while interacting with the new Managing Director of YKK Masahiro Nakagawa who was accompanied by outgoing Managing Director Karl K Hosokawa and Director and Factory Manager Masatsugu Wada.
YKK had set up its unit in Haryana in 1997 and employed 500 persons of whom 90 per cent hailed from Haryana, an official spokesman said after the meeting.
The company plans to set up a training centre from which the trainees would be absorbed in the factory, he added.
