Week-long preparatory camp for Doha-bound cueists

Bangalore, Nov 14 (UNI) Former World Snooker and Billiards Champion Pankaj Advani, ace billiards player Geet Sethi and World Eight Ball Pool champion Chitra Magimairaj would be among the 17 players to undergo a week-long camp at the Karnataka State Billiards Association (KSBA) from November 16 in preparation for Asian Games, scheduled to begin next month at Doha.

Besides regular coaching, matches and removing flaws, the players would also go through yoga and physical training at the camp, according to a KSBA release here today.

Following is the list of players taking part in the camp: Men: Billiards: Ashok Shandilya, Pankaj Advani and Geet Sethi.

Snooker:Yasin Merchant, Manan Chandra, Aditya Mehta and Rupesh Shah.

Eight Ball Pool: Dharminder Singh Lilly and Alok Kumar.

Nine Ball Pool: Sumit Talwar and Mohammed Asim.

3 Cusion Carom: Kosaraju Ranjan and Balachandra Bhaskar.

Women: Eight Ball Pool: Anuja Thakur and Chitra Magimairaj.

Nine Ball Pool: Meenal Thakur and Vidya Pillai.
