Union Minister predicts Siddaramaiah's victory

Hubli, Nov 14 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Planning M V Rajashekaran today predicted victory for former Deputy Chief Minister and Congress nominee Siddaramaiah in the December 4 byelection to Chamundeshwari Assembly constituency.

Speaking after meeting MuruSavir mutt seer Gurusidda Rajendrayogi swamiji here, he said it was impossible to defeat Mr Siddaramaiah in Chamundeshwari.

Earlier, he inaugurated children's day celebrations here by garlanding a portrait of late Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. He also distributed sweets to the children.

The Minister also paid a visit to the church at Dharwad, which some miscreants attempted to set ablaze two days back.
