Two killed in bomb explosion

Indore, Nov 14 (UNI) Two people were killed when a bomb exploded in a scrap shop at Pithampur area of Dhar district near here, police said today.

A person had sold waste material, suspectedly picked up from proof range of MHOW Army area, to scrap dealer Rajpal Singh.

When Rajpal hammered on the live bomb in order to take metal out of it last evening, the bomb exploded. The explosion was so powerful that it ripped the roof apart.

Rajpal and one more person were killed on the spot but his brother, Rampal, who was near by escaped unhurt. The other deceased was not yet identified.

Last week also, one person had died in a similar incident when a live bomb exploded at the shop of a scrap dealer in Pithampur area.
