Tremors felt in Nanded

Nanded, Nov 14 (UNI) Few areas of the Nanded city tonight felt tremors as several residents of Bhagyanagar, Srinagar, Ganeshnagar and Shivajinagar localities came out of their houses after experiencing tremors.

District Superintendent of Police Fattesinha Patil said the police control room was flooded with calls from the residents of these localities after experiencing tremors shocks around 2310 and 2315 hrs.

However, a report on the intensity of shocks from the nearest seismological centre was awaited, official sources at the district collectorate said.

An eleborate police bandobast has been made, Mr Patil said.
