Trainer Hidayat Khan fined Rs 10,000

Bangalore, Nov 14 (UNI) Stewards of the Bangalore Turf Club (BTC) have fined Trainer Hidayat Khan Rs 10,000 for violation of general condition five of the prospectus of Bangalore Winter Meeting 2006-2007 in allowing his charge 'Noname' to run in the fifth and seventh race on November ten.

However, it was later withdrawn from the fifth race, Dandeli Plate Div-I 1400 m, according to a BTC release here today.

Jockey D Gnaneshwar, the rider of 'Yantai', was fined Rs 3,000 for coming in and causing interference to 'Sugar Blaze' (Ms Silva Storai up) on his inside immediately after jumping out of the starting gates and thereafter for coming in sharply and going close to 'Cherika' (M A Ghallagher) on the inside, the release added.
