Three shooters among 7 nominees for Teacher's awards

New Delhi, Nov 14 (UNI) As many as three shooters -- Samaresh Jung, Anuja Jung and Abhinav Bindra -- are vying for the coveted Teacher's Achievement Awards in Sports Category.

The seven nominees for this year's awards also include ace shuttler and eight-time national champion Aparna Popat, Indian football captain Baichung Bhutia, squash prodigy Ritwik Bhattacharya and golfer Shiv Kapur.

The award ceremony is scheduled to take place here on November 25.

Last year, shooter Anjali Bhagwat and racing sensation Narain Karthikeyan were joint recipient of the honours.
