Thief seriously injured after being nabbed

Anand, Nov 14 (UNI) A thief of a three-member gang was nabbed by the people of Krishna Housing Society here last night.

The two other gang members managed to flee with the booty valued at Rs 28,000.

The thieves broke into the house of Vipul Kantibhai Shah by breaking open the lock and were running away with the valuables worth Rs 28,000 when an alert was sounded. The people of the society chased and nabbed Mahavir alias Gopi Pargi, hailing from Dewas, Madhya Pradesh.

Mahavir was seriously injured after beaten brutally by the society people before he was handed over to police.
