Tension prevails at SV Arts College

Tirupati, Nov 14 (UNI) Tension prevailed at Sri Venkateswara (SV) Arts College here, when the students, agitating against the college Principal pelted stones on his car and damaged it here today.

Police said about 1,000 students led by All India Student Federation (AISF), District Unit Leader, Sankar Naik, resorted to strike and raised slogans against Principal Syam Sunder and demanded disbursement of pending scholarships.

Even the management has not cleared the scholarships and the Principal was threatening to suspend them if they failed to pay up the mess charges,the students said.
