Telcom New Zealand and XIUS announce global partnership

Hyderabad, Nov 14 (UNI) Telcom New Zealand International (TNZI), a global provider of international voice termination services IP Voice, Data, Video telephony and other enhanced services to mobile and fixed phone operators and internet service providers, and XIUS, the telcom division of Megasoft Ltd, a leading provider of highly specialized OSS and Roaming solutions to the telecom sector, today announced a global partnership to offer a wide range of innovative and next generation roaming and infrastructure solutions to MNOs and MVNOs.

The partnership would cover several revenue enhancing technologies to provide global roaming footprint, innovative pre-paid roaming solutions and IT solutions. With the combined strengths of TNZI and XIUS, mobile operators and MVNOs in any country around the world would be able to develop comprehensive service portfolio and operate high value, high margin retail roaming offers.

Announcing the deal initially for three years, G V Kumar MD and CEO-XIUS termed it as "a very prestigious deal for XIUS and we are very excited at the opportunity of working with a highly respected global player like TNZI".

"This deal is a clear validation of XIUS emergence as a 'Partner of Choice' in the rapidly changing mobile telephony paradigm and demonstrates the value and attractiveness of suite of solutions", he added.

TNZI had chosen XIUS to offer inter-operability and infastructure solutions including the highly successful XIUS Instaroam to some of its offshore properties and also to emerging MNOs and MVNOs at a global level, XIUS would be the technology provider and will jointly host and maintain the entire suite of services under this relationship.

XIUS by end of December 2006 expected USD one million revenue and was targetting USD 5 million in year 2007, initially from the deal, which was upfront and revenue sharing mix model.
