TDP leaders face threat from Cong govt: Naidu
Hyderabad, Nov 14 (UNI) The Opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N Chandrababu Naidu today alleged that the TDP leaders and workers in Andhra Pradesh were facing threat from the Congress Government.
Speaking at a gathering after the TDP senior leader and former minister P Ramasubba Reddy, who was acquitted in a double murder case, came to meet him Mr Naidu said 108 TDP men were killed since the Congress came to power.
Mr Reddy and seven others were sentenced to life imprisonment in 2004.
Alleging that the government was foisting cases against TDP leaders and harassing them, Mr Naidu said Mr Reddy's name was falsely included in the murder case. The High Court's verdict proved the 'vindictive' approach of the government.
