Oracle sets up retail centre of excellence

New Delhi, Nov 14: Oracle today announced it has set up a retail centre of excellence in India in order to deliver business value to leading retailers seeking to improve profitability.

The retail centre is located in Bangalore and comprises of nearly 200 retail experts.

The centre has global expertise in retail disciplines including merchandising, planning, optimisation, analytics, store operations, supply chain and enterprise application integration.

''Oracle is focused on helping retail businesses achieve greater profitability and return on investment,'' said Jay Bhow, Head, Oracle Retail Centre of Excellence.
