OCL India signs MoU with Orissa govt

New Delhi, Nov 14 (UNI) The Orissa-based OCL India Ltd, producer of the Konark brand cement today said it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Orissa government for setting up a standalone cement grinding unit of 0.9 MTPA (million tonnes per annum) capacity at Jagatpur, Cuttack.

In addition, the company will also be setting up a 60 MW captive power plant at the same place.

Work on the expansion of clinkerisation capacity from 1.1 MTPA to 2.5 MTPA at Rajgangpur Cement Works would also be performed by the company, a statement said.
