NSCN(K) cadre arrested in Dimapur

Kohima, Nov 14 (UNI) Entire Dimapur was panic stricken following firing of gun shots in the market area by a few alleged NSCN-IM cadres yesterday.

Official sources said the incident occured when the NSCN-IM cadres found that two cadres of rival NSCN(K) were extorting money in Dimapur's Hong Kong Market area yesterday.

However, Police rushed to the spot and arrested one NSCN(K) cadre, who was being chased by the NSCN-IM cadres, while the other one managed to escape.

Police said the investigation and a man-hunt was on to apprehend the other cadres at the earliest.
