MP Govt allots 49.56 acres for setting IT Park
Bhopal, Nov 14 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Government today decided to allot 49.56 acres of land to a private company for setting up an Information Technology (IT) park in Badbai near the state capital.
A cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan took the decision to allot land to Zenpact Limited as per the rules of the IT policy.
A decision was also taken to allot five acres to the Institute of Applied Science and Fundamental Research for establishing a dental college at Misrod near Bhopal.
The meeting decided to give the task for preparing VAT-based 'Application Software' to Tata Consultancy Services without inviting tenders in view of its expertise in the field. An expenditure of Rs three crore will be incurred on the job.
A decision was taken to rename the Agriculture Department as the Farmer Welfare and Agricultural Development Department.
Mr Chouhan had made an announcement in this regard during recent 'Kisan Panchayat' organised at his residence.
