Jamatia Hoda demands probe into Kalpana's death

Agartala, Nov 14: The Jamatia Hoda, a religious and social tribal group in Tripura, has demanded a thorough probe into the mysterious death of ruling CPI(M) activist Kalpana Jamatia in Andhra Pradesh recently.

Kalpana Jamatia died in Vizag on November 5, while she was there to attend a conference of CPI(M) workers' union activists along with a few CITU workers.

The Hoda leaders also said they would take up the matter with the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh .

Leader of the opposition Ratan Lal Nath had demanded an investigation into Kalpana's death.
