Israeli troops kill Palestinian militant in W Bank

Nablus (West Bank), Nov 14: Israeli troops shot dead a Palestinian militant during a raid in the West Bank today, alestinian officials said.

The clash took place in the Al-Ein refugee camp in the West Bank city of Nablus, Palestinian medical officials and sources in the camp said.

They named the militant as Baha Khatari, 26, with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine's military wing.

An Israeli military spokeswoman said a force came under fire during an operation in the camp which included explosive devices being hurled at them. She said the unit identified hitting a gunman in the clash.

Israeli forces often raid the West Bank searching for militant.
