HP Cabinet regularises 11,302 employees
Shimla, Nov 14 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh Cabinet today announced the regularisation of 11,302 Public Work Department (PWD) and Irrigation and Public Health (IPH) Department employees who had completed eight years of service, official sources said.
Of the 11,302 employees regularized by the Cabinet, which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, 5,152 were of the IPH department and 6,150 of the PWD, the sources said.
With this, the state government has so far regularised 13,182 employees in PWD and 11,832 IPH employees who had completed eight years of service up to March 31, 2004.
The technical staff of these departments would also be posted within the Circle, while receptionists, store clerks, work inspectors and surveyors would be posted throughout the state, the sources said.
The sources said the Cabinet also decided to provide state guarantee to HIMFED for raising loans to the tune of Rs 12.77 crore from NCDC for constructing a cold store at Rai in Sonepat district of Haryana.
The meeting also decided to regularize services of 24 ad hoc Ayurvedic Medical Officers in Ayurveda Department of the state, the sources said.
The Cabinet also decided to upgrade 18 posts of Ayurvedic Pharmacists to Chief Ayurvedic Pharmacists in the pay scale of Rs 5800-9200, increasing the total number of posts of Chief Ayurvedic Pharmacists to 70 in the state, the sources added.
