HC orders police not to arrest Bharti Yadav

New Delhi, Nov 14 (UNI) The Delhi High Court today ordered the police not to arrest or detain Bharti Yadav when she deposed before the trial court on November 25 in the Nitish Katara murder case.

Justice A K Sikri also directed the authorities to provide Bharti with all the necessary travel documents to facilitate her deposition, which would be conducted on a day-to-day basis.

However, the judge also observed that the Ministry of External Affairs could not be asked to release Bharti's passport immediately.
