HAL promoted to NFL as TFA's replacement

New Delhi, Nov 14 (UNI) HAL Sports Club has been promoted to the 11th National Football League in place of TATA Football Academy who withdrew after failing to comply with the AIFF's advice to build a professional side for the premier domestic championship.

According to an AIFF statement here today, federation president Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi decided in favour of the Bangalore-based team which finished third in the second Division Football League 2005-06,.
