Women's Reservation Bill out in winter session''

Kolkata, Nov 14: The UPA government will place the Women's Reservation Bill in the coming winter session of Parliament beginning on November 22, Information and Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs Minister P R Dasmunshi has said.

The Centre was committed to ensure power and rights for the women, he said while inaugurating a sound and light programme ''Shatroopa'' by the I&B Ministry's song and drama division here last night.

Mr Dasmunshi said consensus had been achieved among all the parties on smooth passage of the proposed Bill in both the Houses.
