Governor, CM pay tributes to Pt. Nehru

Patna Nov 14 (UNI) Bihar Governor R S Gavai and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar paid floral tributes to first Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru on the occasion of his birth day celebrated as Children's day here today.

Addressing a function organised at Rajbhawan here,Mr Gavai said that children were the future of nation and every effort should be made to provide better education and health facilities for them.

''In this era of materialistic thinking, parents and teachers have responsibilities to inculcate high moral values among the children'', Mr Gavai added.
