Gadkari supports hunger strike by Mohan Dharia
Mumbai, Nov 14 (UNI) Maharashtra BJP president Nitin Gadkari today supported the indefinite hunger strike by veteran socialist leader Mohan Dharia for getting justice for the farmers.
In a release here today, Mr Gadkari demanded the loans of all the farmers who have less than five acres of land should be waived.
Besides, the loans of all the farmers having non-irrigated land should also be waived. He is correct in his demands, he added.
He appealed to the state and the Centre to respect a senior leader like Mr Dharia and accept his demands.
Mr Dharia has worked as the deputy chairman of the Planning Commission during the Chandra Shekhar government.
