Congress nominates Hamid Mubarak for Manihari assembly by-poll

Patna, Nov 14 (UNI) The Congress today named Dr Hamid Mubarak as party candidate for Manihari assembly seat where a by-election is scheduled to be held on December 4.

Spokesman of the Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC) Prem Chandra Mishra said Dr Mubarak's late father Mubarak Hussain had held the seat for the party.

Mr Mishra claimed that all the constituent partners of United Progressive Alliance(UPA) would support the Congress candidate in the by-election.
