APCC appeals to people to support its candidates in bypolls

Visakhapatnam, Nov 14 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) President K Keshava Rao today called upon the people to support the Congress candidates for Bobbili assembly and Karimnagar in the by-polls on December 4.

Addressing a press conference here, Mr Rao claimed that in both the seats, the ruling Congress will win a large majority, on account of the development and the welfare schemes being implemented by the state government in the last two and-half-years.

He said the Congress Government was not taking policy decisions by merely sitting in the Secretariat.

It has been going to the people directly to assess their problems and needs. The World Bank officials praised the ruling Congress government's efforts and promised to extend loans, he claimed.
