Anyuser Telecom slashes call rate to US at Re 1

New Delhi, Nov 14 (UNI) With the launch of ''Bindas Bol'', a new product by Anyuser Telecom, a customer can now make an international call to the United States at one rupee per minute.

''In the age of internet, introduction of internet telephony has become inevitable,'' Anyuser Telecom Director Vinay V Kalantri said.

Apart from coin box solution or Bindas Bol, Anyuser would introduce more innovative services to tap different segments of the market, Mr Kalantri said.

Presently, there are 1,000 corporate customers, 500 phone booths and more than 75,000 retail outlets across the country selling services.

He added that despite easy availability of internet, its density is not up to the expected percentage. The availability of phone booths in areas where there is less reach of internet connection opens up the oppurtunity for potential international calling customer.

Anyuser Telecom is a subsdiary of the Korea-based 3 billion dollars company Anyuser Net.
