Air fares to move up in coming weeks

New Delhi, Nov 14 (UNI) Four major domestic airlines have come together to hike fares.

Kingfisher Airlines, Jet Airways, Air Sahara and Indian (Airlines) plan to increase fares between three to five per cent.

Airline officials said the hike will be effective in a phased manner over the next few weeks.

Though low cost airlines have resisted such moves earlier, they are also likely to follow in the next couple of weeks.
